Crystal Lynn (Saiz) Hernandez

Crystal Lynn (Saiz) Hernandez passed away on Friday, February 5, 2021 at the age of 40, at her home, in Lakin, Kansas. She was born on July 17, 1980 in Garden City, Kansas the daughter of Damian Saiz and Eloisa (Urteaga) Oropeza.

Crystal began her life in Garden City, and attended Deerfield High School. She met the love of her life Edward Hernandez in 2005 and they made their forever home in Lakin, Kansas. To this union four children were born, Cameron, Jeremy, Atlantis, and Yavin. Several years went by and they decided to get married on August 29, 2016. Crystal was a CNA for the most of her life and she had a huge heart and never shut the door on anyone that needed any kind of care. She loved her family with everything she had and loved to sing and dance and party. She always looked forward to and loved movie nights with her husband and kids. In 2017, she was forced to quit working due to her health. She always loved working and living in Lakin and resided there until her untimely passing.

Crystal enjoyed fishing, watching movies, going to kids sporting events, having barbecues, listening and singing music, but her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her grandchildren and family. 

She was preceded in death by:

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 8, 2021 at 11:00 AM (CST) at the First Assembly Of God Church in, Lakin, KS. Burial following in Deerfield Cemetery, Deerfield, KS. 

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 7, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM (CST) at First Assembly Of God Church, with a Celebration Of Life Service at 6:00 PM in Lakin, KS.
