Question Everything

One thing I love is delving into news articles. Researching different perspectives and angles of a story. Each article is sharing a truth from their point of view. For instance western dentistry says if there is a problem with a tooth we fix the tooth. Holistic dentistry has a chart where each tooth represents a system in the body. Why isn’t that taught in dentistry school?

Is one of them right or wrong? Sometimes a tooth is just bad. And sometimes it is a whole system failure. I once had a tooth filled and my body immediately inflamed. After learning about holistic dentistry, when the filling was removed my body also went down two sizes.

If a “philanthropist” who makes money from their giving has profit ties to media, pharmaceutical companies, and decision making government entities, I don’t think questioning their conflict of interest is bad.

I read an article by a microbiologist who explained that an immune compromised person wearing a mask may actually be hurting themselves.

So my question is why are we afraid to question? Why are people so set in shutting down opposing theories? What is it we are afraid of?

Why is it a conspiracy theory because the person who disagrees is thrown under the bus by false allegations?

When natural from the earth herbs tinctures and oils have proven benefits why does the FDA slam them? Lack of profit?

To see the other side, someone selling false claims or fake potions is worthy of being banned but where is the line drawn?

Once upon a time I thought oils and herbs were hogwash. Once upon a time I thought holistic dentistry was phooey. Today through numerous experiences I have learned that sometimes the ones with the most money and the most lobbyists are fueling sick care vs healthcare.

Many universities in our country that are funded by these same entities are not offering courses in nutrition or alternative medicines. Why?

In the rush to find testing, cures, treatments, preventions for Coronavirus we are naturally getting some things wrong, being safe rather than sorry. I get that. But can we be more fluid and allow new ideas to formulate, see different points of view to learn from?

I have read stories of people denied care for their cancer while keeping an empty Emergency room for Coronavirus patients that never materialized. Is it ok to say hey we got it wrong? It doesn’t appear that is allowed in our society.
